Default 46 Ford decals

I have new decals for a 46 Ford V-8 air cleaner & oil canister and want to make sure I put them on in right place. Does someone have a pic of engine compartment showing this information?, or ? Thanks

Carl, years ago I had a '46 Tudor Sedan that had the remains of (what I think were) the original decals on the oil bath air cleaner and oil filter housing. The air cleaner decal was placed just to the right of the center (if you are standing in front of the car). the oil filter housing decal was place in about the same position. the decal on the oil filter cover was long gone so I can't say for sure but I would guess it faced the fender so it could be read. Hope this helps.

Vic is basically correct. The decals are viewed from the drivers side fender on both the air cleaner and the oil filter cannister.
