Default Rear Housing Race Repair Kit

Would any of you happen to know the radial thickness of the "Housing Race Repair Kit" listed in the Snyders Catalogue of 2010, page A-93 under part# A-1225-SL ?
Could a person use a bearing designed "Speedy Sleeve" for the rear axle housing, or would they be too thin for prolonged service ? I am not familiar with the radial thickness of the common "Speedy Sleeve" either.

Would either be hardened in any way, or just a high carbon steel ?

The repair sleeve is quite thick. I'm guessing because I put mine in a long time ago. To me it was about 4 to 5mm thick. It's size is the difference between the "A" and V8 bearings OD.

The speedisleeve would be too thin to work as a bearing race.

Thanks Tom, that's what I was thinking also, from the ones I have used in the past for smaller sizes.
