Rockfla,Folks,
Great to meet you and several other Ford Barn folks at the meet/ vacation. So busy Cheryl and I have to rest up after all the activities at the event. Still downloading information. We miss the nice buffet breatfast at the Hotel. Ken was correct the ragged ol' truck was well recieved at the meet and also at the many stops along our travels. The meet coordinators did a very good job from registration to trailer parking. The trip to Willis Johnsons private collection was very interesting for me. Yes lots and lots of over the top nice mid 50's to mid 60's cars and trucks. Me personally I could relate to those even better than the V8 club cars. Cheryl and i had a 55 Crown Vic for 30 years. Back at the show I liked the 53 Merc in the bronze and black! Several of the 52-53 Fords were very nice The black on black convertiable rag top was a super car. Also had a chance to learn more about the 30's and 40's cars and trucks at the meet also. The Lane collection of unique mostly European people movers gave a different perspective of transportation in othe countries. Made some new friends for sure and made some connections for future project. All in all I give the 2022 Eastern National a big thumbs up! Regards, Chris

No Sir, not sure who the owner was, it was there early and stayed under cover till the show day (or it did everytime I saw it). The green 37 Cabriolet, the 32 three window, the 32 4 Door and of course the 32 woody was. |

I had a great time at the meet! Reconnected with old friends and met many new ones. It was great to meet Chris & Cheryl and see their '32 BB Dump. Judged the '32's including three of Dave's....what a treat! We had a great judging crew including some 'barners (rockfla, John Ryan). Also included Jimmy Gibson, what a great guy! Too bad Ken Stewart (Redneck) had to miss bringing his Deluxe Coupe...It looks really good!
Here is a picture (screenshot) of Chris' BB Dump Truck and the result of his many hours of working on it. Congrats Chris! Regards, Pat |

Sheldon,
Nice roadster, but not mine. What I had there was my '32 deluxe coupe, plus the '32 station wagon, '32 maroon and black standard Fordor, and the green '37 cabriolet entered by their new owners. My standard roadster will hopefully make an appearance at the Club's Grand National Meet in Dearborn next year. |

For my first time judging, thanks to YOU, Mark, John and Jimmy for making me welcome and a tremendous experience. It was a great thrill. AND now you have me crawling my 32 again looking and evaluating with a finer toothed comb |

Sheldon that 32 std roadster belongs to a local friend John Egbert. It recently left our shop. John’s brother from Texas brought a 34 Lincoln to the meet that was stunning!

Sure. The one time my 1949 Ford WAS NOT parked next to the 1949 Ford Woodie..............you take a picture. OR did you photo shop it out?
Just kidding --- thanks for posting the photos. I'd take the 1934 Lincoln home any day. |
