Siezed Moto Meter
Has anyone had to remove a seized MotoMeter, I have removed the lock screw and tried to turn it with a strap wrench, it wont budge, I dont want to use any fluids such as PB blaster in case it harms the paint , maybe a little gentle heat ?.
Thanks in advance Brian T. |

Re: Siezed Moto Meter
Brian, I'd probably try a hair dryer, as it wouldn't be hot enough to harm anything.--Bill W.

I would cut open a garbage bag, cut a hole in it and put it over the rad opening then wrap some rags around the opening to protect the paint. Now go at it with the PB Blaster and a heat gun. If that doesn't work see Jeff.
