Default Vintage Sports Car Races at Road America

Good Morning Listers,

Just wondering if anyone on the list is planning to attend the vintage car races at Road America in Elkhart Lake, WI next week? I've been invited to show my speedster at the Gathering on the Green Concours d’ Elegance held at the Osthoff resort. https://www.vscda.org/events/gather-on-green/. If so, please stop by, I would like to meet some of you in person.

Cheers,
Carlos

Hey Carlos,

Sounds like a great event, wish I could go. Road America Raceway in Elkhart Lake is on my bucket list to visit some day along with Lime Rock. I used to read about the sports car races there in Road & Track.

Riverside Raceway (long gone now) was located here in Moreno Valley and I enjoyed many of the races there in the 50's and 60's.

Show us some pictures of your Speedster and some pictures of the event.

Have fun,

David Serrano

We used to race motorcyles at Riverside in the 70's. Great times until they started building housing in the area and the new "neighbors" complained about the noise...

I think there is a mall there now??

Carlos, I would love to see pictures of your speedster.
