Default Light Bulbs for 1934 Ford 4 Door

Does anyone have a list of correct numbers for the light bulbs of the '34 Ford 4 door sedan? I'm not sure I can trust the numbers on the ones that are installed now. For example, my headlight bulb is a GE 32&32c 6-8 volt Mazda 1000, the parking bulbs just says "W 63", brake/taillight says NGK 6v2.

I'd like to call A&L Parts and know what I'm ordering is correct.

Thanks, Tom

Ford Part Number for headlamp bulb is B-13007-B. I suggest you use the Ford part number as opposed to the bulb manufacturers part numbers which many times are not consistent with one another...

Tung-Sol Part Number T-1116 / 32-21 candle power....

GE/Mazda made bulbs for all cars. The old GE catalogs list them by fit and size characteristics as well as candle power and GE part number. Ford insisted on selling them by there own part number but he was too good a friend of Tom Edison to not buy his bulbs from him. Most of them were a 2-digit number in the small sizes. The larger ones were 4-digit.

The only problem is that many of them are no longer manufactured by GE and the catalogs are only found where folks sell old auto literature. The resto parts sources sometimes list them by both the Ford and Mazda numbers. Most want to sell the LED replacements for a lot of this stuff. The hardest ones to find in 6 volt now are the spot lamp bulbs and some of the small fog light bulbs.

Pete,

With respect, with the exception of the part number you cite in your first sentence, all the others you cite are Macs part numbers, not Ford part numbers. Ford bulb part numbers for a '34 have either a B or 40 prefix preceding 13xxx. The 32/32 CP version of the headlamp bulb part number is B-13007-C, not B-13007-B, which is the 32/21 CP version.

I have edited my post above....

"Tung-Sol developed the first successful car headlight in 1907, followed in 1913 by a single bulb two filament high and low beam headlight. Other Tung-Sol inventions included the flashing turn signal.[3]"

Tung-Sol made about the best radio tubes of any company.

I've seen the Ford bulb & fuse emergency kits that had the Mazda-Westinghouse 2331 bulbs that were 32/32 cp.

Here is a diagram that I made a while back showing the correct bulbs used in a 33 or 34 Ford. Note: Original bulbs are in yellow and higher candle power replacement bulbs are not highlighted.
Hope this helps. Parking lamps and tail light lamps are also shown.
