There is a tool made to turn the engine over using the ring gear. It was a long bar with a swinging curved hook.

TIP# 21: When "unsticking" a Model A, be SURE to keep the switch & the fuel valve turned OFF!!!-----That sucker might suddenly break loose & START & HURT YOU!!!!!!!
