Default Mallory

Purchased a Mallory Model A electronic distributor at a recent swap meet. Later realized I hadn't asked if it's 6 or 12 volt. Can someone advise me how to learn the correct voltage short of trying it? Regards, Ron

I just got a Mallory, and it's evidently both , as it gives points specs for both 6 and 12 volts.
