Default Has Anyone Tried the Lebarron Bonney Seat Covers?

- or ever made inquiries about them?

If held on by elastic, we all know elastic loses its stretch rather quickly.....

I have installed several LB kits over the past few years. No, they are not held on with elastic. They are top quality and they are not cheap. Look at their WEB site or call them. http://www.lebaronbonney.com

Are you talking about their pre-sewn upholstery kits,or the covers made to cover and protect your upholstery?

Very happy with mine, read the instructions, and watch the videos about 20 times before you start. 1930 coupe seat

My wife and I did our roadster, about 4 years ago, they are top quality, period correct. It is some work, fitting and stretching everything to get it right but a great result. They are held in place by Upholstery (HOG) rings. We did seats, front and rumble, side panels and built in shoulder pads. Also if you want to drift a bit like have a not quite correct pleated front seat, they can do that. Very happy with the kit.

Since held in place by elastic straps was mentioned, I'd assume he's asking about slip covers to protect the seat upholstery covers.

Pillow cases make quick, easy, cheap Tudor seat back covers for the front two buckets.

You could safety pin a pillow case to the bottom cushion.

oh it is a cumbersome site to look at, but there is a section devoted to slip covers showing like 4 choices of materials 2 vinyl (pass) and 2 cloth....

Yes. probably about 1990 for my '28 tourer.
both front and rear seats had a small hole which was there in manufacture. I know this because they had the same vinyl beneath the small holes to hide them. I did not see them for quite a while - they were well camouflaged. I'm too far away to have returned them besides perhaps too much time elapsed.
At the same time I also purchased the hood and sufficient material to make the side curtains. I took them to an antique car upholsterer and he said the hood didn't extend over the sides enough. I asked if he could modify, remember I had material, and he said it was just more simple to make new ones.
I do wonder if I had rejects because I lived on the other side of the world.

If you could provide a link to what you are looking at, that would be great. I've searched their site extensively but can't find what you are seeing.

Looks like this is what the OP is referring to:
http://www.lebaronbonney.com/ezb-seat-covers.php

Available in NINE great stitch styles
Choose any material combination
Install directly over your existing seat covers
Easily secure with hog rings
Includes hog rings, pliers and instructions
Starting at just $320 per bench or bucket pair
Matching Door Panel Covering Available!

I have never heard anything about them either. But our cars are listed in their drop downs.

Not "slip covers" and not attached with elastic, however.

EZ Boy is just LB's low priced generic looking upholstery.

Wow, they also have the clear plastic ones to go over your upholstery, just like you used to get from Fingerhut!!
