Default front fender molding on 1950 f1 ford

Putting repainted front fenders on a 1950 F1 pickup. My question is the rubber molding which side goes toward the fender and which side to the truck. One side is (2) time the width of the other. I believe the heavy side goes to the truck? e-mail is [email protected], phone is 309 453 5164

Adam
I believe I put the flatter side to the cowl.

Most repro moldings sort of snap over the flange on the fender.
