Default Edmunds four barrel air cleaner

Back in the day, Did Eddie Edmunds make a four barrel air cleaner(5 1/8") neck? Like the one O'brien truckers and Speedway have. I have Edmunds heads and intake, with a holley 390 carb and thought it would look cool all matching. If so any used ones out there? Thanks

I think there are a lot of things currently marketed under the Edmunds name that were not actually available in the old days. That said, if you like it go for it I'm sure it would look good.

I saw a magazine ad today showing Edmunds merchandise. You might try www.OBRIENTRUCKERS.com 508-248-1555

They won't fit the older 4 barrels such as the Rochester 4 jet. 5 1/8 is too big.

Straightpipes, I am using a 390 Holley I think it will fit. Thanks for the update on Rochester carbs.

Cal Custom used to make a cast aluminum adapter ring to use a more modern air cleaner on the early 4 barrels, I have one on my 331. I think I've even seen newer plastic versions.

I believe it is Mr. Gasket that makes the THIN plastic adapter rings. My experience with them is that they will develop cracks after a year or two of steady use. Also, I was priming the engine and spilled a little fuel on the ring, the engine back fired, and the ring ignited with the fuel and melted.
