Default 1928 Businessman's Coupe

Just kinda curious If anyone else has seen a 28 Businessman's coupe with dual rear oval windows. I've tried to do some research but haven't seen anything like what my 28 A has or any Model A for that matter. I can try to get a photo uploaded in a few weeks as I am currently working up in Canada and wont be back home for a while. Someone told me a while back a tractor company used to do some modifications to some Model A's straight off the line. Could this be one of those? Can't remember that company's name though, as they have been out of business for a while.

Just how "late" in 1928 is this Business Coupe?

Here is a 1929. I just saw it this week. This one has those windows. Also has a trunk instead of rumble seat.

I am not the owner neither I have any relationship, nor I am interested to post it here for sale.

Best !!!

Not sure how late in 1928 it is to be honest. And the dual oval windows aren't on the side. They are on the rear. I'll try and get my brother to take some pictures for me so I can get them posted.

KS.. "on the rear" meaning where the quarter windows are on the coupe,.? Oval windows introduced as '29, but may have been on the line in late '28.

Attached is the only current Image I have. But you can slightly see what I'm talking about on the back of the top.
The truck is converted into a rumble seat.

As others have said, a photo of the rear would be helpful.. my knowledge of the Model A and it's idiosyncrasy in manufacture from year to year seems to get more elementary every time a question is presented here.. kb

Oval windows on the rear quarter sides came in early '29, c. March/April. Up until then, from Business Coupe intro [ April/May 1928], no side window & rectangle rear window. Maybe someone got confused where the oval windows went when top replaced?? Cheers

Sorry... posting with nice pictures of the oval Windows have gone. The author deleted it. Probably because the car was sold. When i posted the link it was still there.

Attached are 3 factory photos of the Business Coupe. The first 2 are of a 28 and the last 1 is a 29 with the oval windows. This is the way it should be. The Business Coupes were more or less a very plain Model A used as transportation for the business man. They came with a trunk i.e., no rumble seat, ide mounts, cowl lights.

Those oval windows in the rear of the top are nice I'd bet while backing up. I find it pretty hard to back into my shop with my sport coupe as it's a tight fit on the sides with the equipment I also have in the shop.

A lot of other car manufacturers used small oval back lights (rear window) but Ford didn't in the model A era. Someone may have re-trimed the top and installed what ever rear glass frame or frames they had on hand.

Finally was able to get some photos. After what y'all said it sounds like the old owner just took some side windows from a 30 and put it on the rear of the 28.
