Default 64 Galaxie Offset Shaft Conversion success

Thought I would report back on replacing the offset shafts that connect the lower arm to the frame. There are are several replacement solutions and I settled on new shafts from Born Again Classics at $326 for the set. They can re-purpose your old ones and you'll save $75. The other replacement design parts looked too gimmicky for me.

Not cheap by any means, but replacement corrected the suspension floating /surging problems. And, I was able to get the front end aligned correctly.

The combination of replaced shafts and alignment eliminated my brake fade problem too.

If your planning the replace 63-64 Galaxie front suspension parts, be sure to include replacing the offset shafts even if they are in perfect shape. It was a design issue.
