37 paint question
the door strikers on my 37 club cab were blasted clean. Am I correct in thinking they were painted body color? Thanks in advance.

Re: 37 paint question
Male or female? The former were added after the body was painted, the latter were installed before the body was painted.

Re: 37 paint question
The striker is attached to what I would call the rear pillar, with two screws.
This holds the door shut when you close it. |

Re: 37 paint question
Many of us would describe that as the latch catch; in any event, those were installed before the body was painted and therefore ended up in body color.
