Default Drafty doors

Since installing doors panel in my Ď30 coupe, I am getting a draft from the door blowing on my butt. I purchased a strip to help but the only instructions are that it goes between the door and the panel. I pulled the bottom of the panel and I canít see how to place the seal. A little advice is greatly appreciated.

Attach it to the bottom of the panel between the door. Also, is the Windlace installed correctly?

The seal is held in place along the bottom edge of the door trim panel by the bottom door clips. It is sandwiched between the panel and door frame with the lip facing inward.

Gufshoz, where did you buy the weatherstripping? My '29 coupe has the same problem and I'd like to eliminate that draft. Thanks!

I bought a roll of deal from Mike's A-fordable. I've been looking through all of my manuals and on the internet. The two above posts have been the most helpful. Thanks.

Over the course of the past 90 years, the doors on most of our cars have been given a hard time. Most of mine also allow a draft. I buy "peel and stick" domestic weather strip from the local hardware store and strategically place it on the edges of the doors. My cars are drivers, not show cars, obviously

Thanks Synchro. That sounds much easier than pulling the panel off again. My car is also a driver. The wife commented on the draft, so a solution is necessary. By the way, we're going to be visiting Australia next month. It's all packaged, and I'm sorry that Melbourne isn't on the itinerary.

Where ya gunna be? Wait a moment, it doesn't matter where. It'll be MUCH warmer than your place! There are places only 100 miles north of us where the temp has been in the high 110s, even 120F for the past more than a week. We are in the south east corner where it's supposed to be cool. Bring some cool with you!
