Re: Cam Gear 59 AB engine
I personally prefer the aluminum. Had a repro fiber gear wear out and fail on a rebuilt 21 stud engine after only 1000 miles. Aluminum has been on same engine now for over 8000 miles. Aluminum makes no more noise than fiber on this engine. Runs like the wind

Alum is the only way to go. Have seen repop fiber gears cut loose on A's and T's and would not trust one at all in a v8.
