Default Rumble deck bumper question

Does anyone have an easy method of installing the upper round bumpers on both corners of a rumble seat deck/hood??" Newly painted body.

use some liquid soap, and twist them in.

I have beveled the lower edge a bit and used soapy water or a little GoJo
Push hard and twist
