In the e-v8 times there is a bit of F-8 trucks being big boys and not judgable. I guess I don't understand. I thought bigger is better...

There is a lack of knowledge & reference for the most part. I think if some of the big truck owners could be interviewed and some research properly done, standards for judging could be published. Folks tend to concentrate on the more popular models. It's just human nature. There are more than a few big truck lovers out there though.

FWIW, I think people would enjoy seeing the big trucks. Like anything else, some folks would need to volunteer to get the ball rolling and make it happen.

As a EFV-8C commercial judge, we have always point judged every commercial vehicle that has been entered and wanted to be point judged. There have been 131 inch wheel base dump trucks, cab-overs, and even fire trucks.
The thing to remember is that only the Ford manufactured parts of the truck are judged, so if there was a dump body added by another manufacturer, then that part is not judged. It is up to the owner (who knows his vehicle the best) as to which concourse class the vehicle should be entered in.
