1936 Starter solenoid
I need to replace the starter solenoid on my 36 pickup and notice that all the suppliers seem to list them starting with the 1937 model year only. It would seem these would work as well. Anyone have insight on this?
Thanks, Pa |

Re: 1936 Starter solenoid
Your pickup wasn't originally equipped with a starter solenoid as they were added starting with the '37s. The entire starting system other than the starter motor was changed with a different switch (dash mounted rather than foot operated) and major wiring changes. If your system was converted to one using a solenoid then presumably the '37 plus version would work.
