Then click on the PDF to get pictures you can actually see. Same base was used in 59 with different plastic and clips...either can be converted to the other very easily.

put us2326113a on patent # line and search
open up the PDF clicks to get the pictures

Thanks for the additional info, guys. The two-bolt distributor that I looked at yesterday must be Ford made because it has the vacume brake adjustment, and looked like the one from the patent drawings you guys linked me to. The distributor was offered to me as "rebuilt," and for a for price of $100. It looked pretty clean, still being in the box of the rebuilding shop and with a 1999 date on the newspaper that was used in the box for padding. I did notice that on one set of points, the contact surfaces were not parallel when open, so perhaps even if rebuilt, the distributor needs some adjustment due to being man-handled a little in the 15 years since being rebuilt. Ebay shows them starting at around $60, so $100 must be a reasonable price, especially if it has been rebuilt well, wouldn't you think?

I will trade you mine, 3 bolt mallory for a ford crab. I have the adapter, Will I need the button spacer?

May need the button , cant really tell until you try it.....
Ship the distributor to us and i will send ya out a built crab ready to run with cap and rotor.
I do have customers that want the Mallorys from time to time for the adjustment factor........
