Default Anyone know?

Here at work and need to grab a couple machine screws...ANYONE know the size and length of the Round Head Machine Screws that hold the coil to the Distributor Late 36 to 41???? Thanks

although I know what they look like but I would keep sticking drills in the housing just
until it fits not loose but just snugg. that would be close to the major diameter, then
go on line for machine screw charts. I think these screws are 1/2 long and I think fine
thread around a No. 8. The easy way, take the distributor and coil to the hardware store
the screw is common they will fix you up. And please buy stainless and buy more than
you need because you drop one screw goes to that dreaded hole in the floor gone: sam

I think its like 8/32 X 1-3/4 "ish" but was looking for "fact" or confirmation!!

I'd contact Michael Driskell at Third Gen Automotive. The Ford Bolt business he bought from Roy is impressive. As is his knowledge of fasteners.

My 1937 parts book says the screws to hold the coil to the distributor for 1937 are 27169-S4 (10-32 x 1 3/8" round head bolt).
