Default 1933 34 colors

Hello,is there a website that has color photos of restored Ford V8 in factory colors? I have books and chip charts ,but they don’t give a good representation of actual appearance when on car .Thank you.Gary

If you have good chipcharts and books, its a good start. It's mix of paint store working with you. Best if you have a part they can scan. Pictures off the web are not accurate, in my opinion.

I have a great ppg referance/Ditzler chip chart. That are you looking for???

This is a correct statement. One cannot trust photos on a computer screen to accurately represent the actual color. There are too many variables; camera calibration, monitor calibration, photo editing software "tweaks", etc.

Find a paint chip color you like, have a paint vendor match it, and then spray out some larger panels.

Hello thanks for the replies, yes I have the color Chips and also the 33 to 34 V8 book from the club. I know the color chip doesn’t give a good idea of how it looks on a car .

I went thru that thing a while back on my 34 three window. I bumbled around looking for the "Dearborn " blue. Finally hit on Glasurit , there it was!

You can't do better than autocolorlibrary.com for accurate, original references and the paint itself.

Hello again the color chips are really a poor representation of how they will look on a car ,as I mentioned I used auto color library for a 49 Buick picking the original sunmist gray thinking that it would be a battleship gray but I was surprised how good it looks on car.
