Default Design through tires and suspension.

So I'm sitting here listening to hockey on the radio and surfing. I came across this coupe on social media from new zealand. Maybe I'm stepping some boundaries by re-posting the images. But it's such a change I thought it's worth it. Previous on the bottom.

Might be a member here also. I do like your style. I'll delete if you prefer not to post this again.

Sexy. Previous woulda suited me better with black wheels and no trim rings. Getting to where I don't love whitewalls, but the after shot is pretty!

Being critical, next time they should shoot the driver's side so the antennae isn't so prominent.

Tangled, to me it's the rake and tire size. Oh course the skirts don't hurt. But we all have opinions to share and appreciate.

I'm a white wall guy, although they are not 4" Dick Tracy cartoon whites ( which look good to me) . But I think the rake and other elements are nice. Blackwalls certainly are nice, but I don't want this to be a whitewall/blackwall thing.

Appreciate the design change.
well anyway... the Minnesota wild beat the la kings tonight: 4 - 1.

They did BTW an antenna, especially a correct one such as that is, to me, a badge of honor.

I like the bottom picture a little more, top picture without skirts would be great also.

Skirts give the car a sleeker body profile.

Similar rake to mine, G78-15's and L-78's, wide whites, red wheels, small caps and beauty rings.
Paul in CT Not a big fan of skirts.

I'm not a fan of skirts in general, but they sure look nice on that car!

Guess I should have said the lack of rake. I guess 0 rake is still rake.

I know it's not a zephyr, but skirts give it a bit more length and style.

Just my opinion.

While I respect what others like, I was never a fan of skirts on a fat fendered Ford

I’m not an expert but I own a 39 (which that appears to be) and the antenna is on the roof just above the windshield.

Oh yes you sure are. True though that is. When an after market radio was added on, that type aerial is the popular style most (any year, make, model) wound up using. Yes/No?

Rarely seen these days, I have seen them listed by some suppliers.

Oh yeah, hey, either version in my garage would make me weak in the knees.
The version with the skirts though was much more popular seventy or so years ago. Buuut as they say everything old, becomes new again.
