You might find it hard to sell, maybe you should install it as planned.

Good luck with that. Still in the box is the best place for it.

Maybe posting it for sale where people can't look up others experiences.

Why is that? I've thought about installing one so my wife/daughters could drive my A. My daughters are 5 & 6, they sit in my lap and drive it now, but when they are 13 or 14 I'd like to teach them to drive it by themselves. They'd have a tough time with it as-is. Just curious if you've had bad experiences, or don't like it because it isn't original, etc.

SteveR, Kids circa 1920s-1930s most all sat in dad's lap and learned to steer and were driving by themselves by 14. No seat belts, gps, power anything. If your car is in good condition they won't have a problem with the car. Save the money for their other education!

I can't claim to have first hand experience with the unit but suggest you go to the archives here and on HAMB (https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/) and search for "EZ steer". Be sure to include the quote marks. The result will make interesting reading. I would go with one of the F100 boxes from Randy Gross. See his ad at https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/ Check him out in the archives and you will get an entirely different tone when compared to the opinions on the EZ Steer unit.

I second the motion by #10. And a short pitman arm, it is like power steering. Steers lock to lock on my roadster, palm drive when moving at all.

Read this thread before letting any family members drive your car. Saved this a long time ago for reference for people who ask. Read the whole thread.

zzlegend, Thank you so much for the first chuckle of the day...

First sentence of the above link;

"One year ago I decided to purchase a EZ steer steering box off ebay from a guy: the box looked new, so decided to fork the 500$ to keep the original look on my Hemi powered 32 roadster."

Now back to our regular scheduled programing...
