Default 39 headlight reflector ?

going to start on my headlights on my 39 pic-up over the years I have been lucky enough to find super nice/ NOS , buckets /trim rings ,lences. but I don,t have the reflectors that sit in the back and hold the bulbs .I,m staying with my original 6V system . anybody had luck with the te-pop ones from the big supply guys ? Any recomendations on who,s best ? I really don,t know allot about these . I would love to find a nice old set , all mine have the stuff falling off it . I know there the same as 35 cars. I just can,t keep bombing around my niehborhood with no lights! ,plus it would look so much nicer ! thanks mike p

Many of the repro reflectors are not shaped the same as originals, the focus position is off ---if the focus is off the lights will look bright looking at them but the light won't light up anything more than 10- 20 feet in front

here is a link showing the differences in focus -- http://www.abarnyard.com/workshop/lamp_focus-2.htm

I went with repro headlight stuff from Joe's on my 1937 Ford to replace the extremely unattractive sealed beam conversion. I had no problem fitting it all together and making it work correctly. The trim rings are original Ford Motor Company bought from a FordBarn guy. I am going to restore the original buckets (minor damage from the sealed beam conversion).
