Synchro, Keep us updated on your bearing fix. I've looks at and bought a lot of hubs trying to find a good bearing race, still looking. The repo parts reports scare me off and I don't want to use hubs or bearings that are close to or out of spec.

I'm due to pickup the bearings today. Fortunately, the supplier is located on my way to a friend's palce who will do the machining for me. We'll have to turn down the trumpet to take the inner part of the bearing but leave untouched the area where the seal runs and make a thin sleeve to go in the hub for the outer. I want to do some thinking about how we do it all so that I can dismantle it again, should the need arise. As I have already promised, I'll post the bearing numbers when I get them.

The bearing number for what I'm using is NU 1010. The dynamic load rating is 42.5 Kn (4,333 Kg or 9,500 pounds) which will be plenty, I think (hope) bearing mind there will be 3 in each hub.

I assume you are talking about the rollers. Decent good hubs are like rocking horse $#!T here. Henry's hubs were not very good. See my post here https://www.fordbarn.com/forum/showthread.php?t=267937

Steve is associated with Bert's Model A. Doubtless he has the hubs too.

Steve, I have a PM to you.
