Default Ford script battery case identification?

Sorry in advance as likely the cases in question have no relevance to 32-53 fords. I have had my attic packed full of Ford dealer collectibles and decided to start displaying them at my home garage and my business shop. Just other week I picked up three ford script empty battery cases. I already had one of the same design. They have a strange upper mounding with two holes likely as a place to lift them from. My curiosity has me wondering what they fit? Model T?? I am clueless as I’ve never seen one. IMG_6113.jpg

Mike, The Duck made script cases many years ago. I've never seen cases with handles, but I'd heard that after he discontinued the batteries, the cases were then referred to as Ford Script flower pots. Could your cases be examples of those flower pots?

Michael,

They're Model T battery boxes.

Michael in my first year of university in 1982 my holiday job was working at a Battery plant . We were making up batteries in similar rubber cases . You assembled the plates
Soldered in the lugs and then applied the top plates - it was all held together with pitch.
I often reflect on those days as I struggle to find an original rubber cased battery for my 34 . If I find an old case I could probably rebuild it with parts form a modern battery -Karl
