Holiday Greetings from Bubba's Hot Rod Shop-An important note!!!
Hello!
This is Doug from Bubbas Hot Rod Shop, and I am one of Bubba's elves! He wants me to let everyone know he has had some complications and is in the hospital recovering from emergency surgery. He has been in for several days and will be in for several more. Needless to say the shop is closed for the holidays and to get him back on his feet again. The plan is to be back open and crankin' those distributor orders out by the second week of January. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions about your order, as it may be a few days before he has internet access again. Once again, sorry for the delay. Happy Holidays from the entire Bubba's Hot Rod Shop Crew!

Thanks for the update on Jim. It's a little funny that I get more information on Jim on Ford Barn.

Has anyone thought to warn the nurses that Jim's there?
Jim, this is not the best way to spend Christmas, so I hope you're home and back to your old feisty self as soon as possible. Merry Christmas, Jim. |

Get well from us in central PA. From what I hear, you're like an old Timex watch - 'takes a licken and keeps on ticken'. I'm sure you are in good hands at the hospital - as you know - leave it to the experts. Get well soon as we depend on you and your wonderful staff to keep us on the move.

Merry Christmas Jim, and to all of your crew in the Babba's Hot Rod shop.
A special thanks for coming to Noblesville for our club work shop and teaching us all about the DISTRIBUTOR. The members still talk about the meeting and your story of you getting into the model T. What a hoot! Our prayers go out to you and your family for a speedy recovery Ken Schaefer |

Re: Holiday Greetings from Bubba's Hot Rod Shop-An important note!!!
Just got home from a 6 day stay at the VA Hos. on 10th street.
I dropped a car battery on my foot week before christmas . Battery was sitting on a battery charger and i allowed it to fall, hit the floor and bounce off my lower ankle . A couple days later it became very swollen and infected , as i am diabetic that compounded the problem . After a few days of no relief i went to the hosipital. The ankle and foot required some major surgery that requires a 6 day stay with tons of IV antibiotics etc. I feel great now but looks like now its going to take some work just to get back in the groove walking etc.... Spending the holidays in the hosipital is kinda humbling knowing there are tons of others in very worse shape than me. I am very thankfull for the crew that took care of me the last six days !!!!! |
