North Dakota Gold
North Dakota Gold My office girl pushed the enter button before I could tell her what to type. My buddy is working the oil fields, he was taking a pickup load of aluminum beer cans to the recycler when he stumbled over this pile. No. the old guy said "none of it was for sale!" Rich

Re: North Dakota Gold
Good grief! That's a LOT of "stuff" - notably speed equipment. Details?

You should do pretty well at the recycle yard! I'll take a couple of those Hi-Rise FH intakes...haha.

Re: North Dakota Gold
Hard to tell how old that pic is - nothing to date it.
Suspect it might be old???? Just a hunch. Could use some of that though. Mart. |

Re: North Dakota Gold
Don't know about all that. I know of a fellow who has his fathers scot blower off his mercury just sitting under the shop bench

Re: North Dakota Gold
Looks like he is cleaning out his stash for maybe recycling. Offer him double what ever he thinks he could sell it for.

Re: North Dakota Gold
Ok guys now that I got everyones attention, it is a late April fools joke. Yes this picture is about 20 years old. A buddy has an extensive collection of flathead speed equipment, he was moving to a new garage and just piled everything up outside . The guy that took the picture back in the day, sent it to Street Rodder magazine, and said that on a business trip to South America, he happened on a foundry that cast aluminum electric meter boxes, and this is what they were making them out of. I guess the magazine believed the story, as they printed it along with the picture in the next issue. I am sure a lot of flathead lovers had a few sleepless nights over that story! Rich
