Our '28 A "Special" Coupe. It is painted Washington blue, and a couple other blues in spots. 60 MPH paint job. Looks great going by it at 60!

great photo, and I like the 64 ford pickup thats hiding too.. My family has a 65 F250 4x4 that I really wish I had the time, money, and space for. I'm a big fan of the 61-66 ford trucks.

I took a mid 60's Ford pickup in trade for some labor, but sold it after one month. I can't afford under 10 miles per gallon.

lol, well you got me there... I did a lot of mechanical work to our 65 in high school (brakes, wheel bearings / seals, u joints etc) and drove it some during my senior year but that was 1999 and gas was 99 cents a gallon. I think I got about 11-12mph with a 3/4 ton 4x4 352 V8. It liked petrol but MAN it was a TANK!

B man Al ;

It looks like a 32 based on gas tank location . Did they relocate the gas tank to the rear on "late 31 " .

1928 Martin-Parry No. 218 Park Body
This vehicle is a 1928 Martin-Parry, No. 218 Park Body, mounted on a 1928 Model A Ford chassis. I purchased this vehicle in the Los Angeles area in November 2010 and completed it enough to take it to a car show in May 2012.

The Martin-Parry Corporation was a builder of many types of vehicle bodies, and they would mount their bodies on Ford, Chevrolet or other manufacturer’s chassis. In 1930 Chevrolet purchased the Martin-Parry Corporation and it eventually became the Body by Fisher Division of Chevrolet. I know of only 2 of these vehicles to still exist in the world. The other one is in Massachusetts.

I purchased this vehicle in the Los Angeles, CA. area in November 2010 and completed it enough to take it to a car show in May 2012. As we know they are usually a work in progress. After purchasing the vehicle, I took it all a part for a frame up restoration. While I worked on replacing the wood, I had a local body shop do the body work and painting.

Here is the car as I purchased it.

Here is as it looks today.
