Default Trico Windshield Wiper Repair Kit

I am looking for information as to the application/age of this kit. WWll vintage?
Federal Stock No. 8-K-500
Trico No. 1062-K
The box has been opened and the contents is sealed in a black waxed paper. At this time I hesitate to open it up for what are to me, obvious reasons. The box is a light tan color.
Does any one have any information about this that they could/would share?
Photos available upon request. Seems that I can post photos every where with no problems except Ford Barn. I won't even try to post photos here.
Thank You,
Chet

I believe that your thought "World War II vintage?" is correct. Those of us in the hobby in the 1950's, 1960's, 1970's did see some WWII military surplus items, and usually they came from Joblot Automotive a wholesale & retail parts supplier who would buy available quantities of military surplus items. Such items were often packaged in cosmoline, a protective military packaging.

Thank you for your help, would you know of any application charts that might be around? I don't see much on the internet and have also asked Trico, but no answer at this time.
Thanks again.

Not sure of the application. However my experience of those repair kits is that in most cases the problem is that the diecast wiper body is warped and the repair kit won't get them going again as you can't get a decent seal inside -Karl

I just heard from Trico and the person who sent the e-mail said they had never heard of an application chart for wiper motor repair kits. I don't know what Trico manufactures these days. I did find a photo on the internet w/the part no. that matches mine and it is the same except the parts are in two small manila envelopes. There are a couple on e-bay marketed as Model A repair kits but they're not for, as the gasket and contents tell.
I guess that all old parts that don't have a home are automatically labeled, "Model A"?
Thank You for your help with this, I think I've got it figured out .
Thanks again,
Chet

Well, Rob at TRICO says that 1062 is the TRICO P/N for the replacement kit for the KCX-1 motor among others for the Model A Ford. OK, I guess it doesn't get better than that.
