Vic:
Don't fix it. Just bring it to the 2015 Moonshine festival & retrace the White knuckle tour. with the lefts & rights & switchbacks on the tour that Gene set up for us you would have to say there was nothing wrong with the box.
You just need to find the type roads that only go straight for about 25'
Then you are good to go. LOL

Phil, that's excellent, looking forward to seeing you, Chuck and your 'new' '39 CS.

Bill, that was an excellent tour that Gene set up for us on the White Knuckle Tour at the Moonshine Festival... Maybe next year I'll drive the '39 CS up there again, this time with a 'tight' steering box... LOL

3 months to the Bash. There is plenty of time. Push Don's '50 out of the way for a while. I know. That's easier said than done.

Yes, I know... I hope to have the LZ back together in the next couple of weeks and after that, we'll pull the steering box out of the CS and rebuild it...

Hey, sounds like things are "shaping up" (just like girl in bikini ) for another great Barner's Bash in the Sunshine State. I can almost visualize two nice looking '39 CS's racing down I75 for the prize of the first BBQ sandwich at Tom's place . I am hoping to be there if all the stars align.

32phil, the staging area for the event is near my house, in Odessa (North Tampa) I will be talking to the hotel that normally gives us a discount, to see if I can arrange it again. The hotel is located just west of I-75 on SR-54, in Wesley Chapel, FL approximately 17 miles from my house. I will continue to post up-dated information on the "Bash" as it becomes available. Hope you can make it. Vic

Excellent John, we're looking forward to seeing you. By the way, did you ever talk to the guy with the '35 Three Window?

It is fun! But don't take my word for it, ask any of the "Barner's" that have been to a "Bash", most of them keep coming back, year after year, and we appreciate their support. Hope you can make it.
