Re: 1957 ranchero
Good luck finding nice ones, they are the only two pieces that were chrome plated the rest of the bed trim is stainless.

Re: 1957 ranchero
If your still needing the wheel well trim pieces I have a pair, the first few inches of the trim that face the cab are badly rusted but are still intact complete with the screw holes. $35 for the pair plus shipping.

Re: 1957 ranchero
A small percentage of the ranchero upper bed rail corners are stainless, they do exist. The story goes that it was hard to stamp them, so many were produced with steel, then plated. I had two plated for $75 Mark

Re: 1957 ranchero
I didn't say that, new chassic new body new frame, new motor, everything will be new from the ground up.I've already put $16000.00 in the ranchero, and hope to at least break even on it.its getting rebuilt 302 and rebuilt transmission, new 4 barrel and intake ,new disc brakes on the front, new wheels and tires, its been a interesting trip on it,but need to move on to something else.
