The last one that I bought from Bob Drake was thinner which allowed the cowl vent to sit flush with the cowl!!

I don't remember for sure, but I think they told me they got their's from Carpenter or Drake, anyway they did not make the one they sold. I think I purchased the Vintique from Joe's Auto Parts.

Thanks ReggieK, that settles that! It sounds like Drake is my best option, if they are making their own and not selling Vintique stuff.
