Are aftermarket hoods any good?

I feel original is best however if your original options are not good go for the aftermarket. I am just happy that we have options. I did not restore my car but my front fenders appear to be aftermarket. They look just as good as the rear and I cannot tell the difference until I put my car on my lift. It does not bother me at all but some would disagree.
