Default 1932 Ford roadster inside door handle question

I've got what looks to be a 32 roadster inside door handle that's different than the others I've seen. The base is longer and the pivot pin is offset on the base. The handle itself is the same from the tip to the pivot, but is longer from there to the control rod connection. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance,

Dave

The one with the longer base and handle is from a'30-'31 Model A 2-door phaeton.

David, thanks once again. I never knew the deluxe Phaeton used a different type of inside handle.
