I was only to Jefferson once, about 15 years ago, and I thought it was great. Found my share of Model A parts, including a mint 1929 wheel for $5. That was the deal that spoiled me, and I passed up some nice wheels at a good price because of it.

Being somewhat of a frequent participant at Jefferson, I recommend that you come prepared for wet weather. There are many years that it is pretty wet and muddy there.

I've attended Jefferson for many years because we live close by. Model A parts are hit and miss. Some years decent, other years not. Jefferson is a garage sale for gear heads, so you might find anything there. There are waaaaay more post war parts than prewar parts at Jefferson. Lotsa tools, equipment. Jeff and Bob Templin will be there with a complete inventory of repro stuff, plus some original stuff as well. Picked up a nice set of 1929 Schrader 6300 valve stems in restored condition for $200, but that was 15 years ago. Never been that lucky since. In any case, Jefferson is always a lot of fun, and buy a Kents Big Bar. (Ice cream on a stick.) mike

I attended Jefferson swap meet last year and will not go again. I found virtually no model A parts. I rained big time the day or night before and it was a soggy mess with big puddles everywhere. I know swap meets are hit and miss for model A parts, but this was a real miss. Most of the stuff was later speed stuff.
