37 Ford Engine ID from pics
Hi there,
Presently looking at a 37 Coupe on Hemmings. Just to confirm for engine visual from pics, It is of course 21 stud. Then water outlets and pumps are at front of cylinder heads? Or are they central outlet? As engine on this car shows central outlet. Appreciate assistance. Could be another car headed down under to NZ Phil Gillespie NZ |

Ken, Many thanks for confirmation. So this change for head configuration occurred 36 to 37. Just wanted to be sure getting a car with correct engine.

Re: 37 Ford Engine ID from pics
I have a 37 coupe heading down here from the USA as well as a 38 standard coupe.
The 37 is pictured in the latest NZ Rodder. All original but needs complete restoration. I also have another 37 coupe, and a 38 standard coupe from the USA here in my shed that I imported last year. Both are coming along. Chris.NZ. New Plymouth [email protected] |

Re: 37 Ford Engine ID from pics
I was back last Chistmas & completely blown away by all the damage & the downtown area being gone . I spent alot of time there in my teens . Dad lives of the main highway in Belfast first house on right on factory rd. He just finished a Model A & has tons of flathead & engine experience .
Cheers Tony I have lots of parts & know where to get about anything you may need . |
