Default Flywheel cover: removed 2 screws. Where are they from?

From time to time I had a horrible noise from my flywheel cover.
Now I removed the starter, then mounted a magnet on the flywheel and turned it. This way I removed 2 screws and safety washer.
Question: where are they from? Please see the attached picture

If you don't have time to do it right the 1st time, how do you have time to do it the 2nd time?

Great,
then there is no problem anymore.
Then the previous owner let it fall in once.

Thanks for your help.

My 29 had like 8 or 9 in the bottom of the flywheel housing all glued in the gunk from leaks and dirt.
