Just got the re-built starter back from the shop and put it on the truck. The engine starts readily with all spark plugs in place. The shop said that there was an internal ground problem that they discovered and repaired. Thanks again for the helpful thoughts and comments!

Know you're relieved to have found and fixed the problem. Funny how the starter's failure and your pan project coincided!!....kind of drives me nuts for a while and it's happened to me a few times. Thanks for letting us know how it turned out.

Beautiful truck. You've done a very nice job on the restoration!!
