Default Roll down back windows in coupes

Two friends have model A coupes with rumble seats. One has a roll down back window for access to the rumble seat and one does not. Was the roll down window an option or was it only available on certain models?

Only available from mid 1931 on the Deluxe Coupe & could be ordered on the std. Coupe at cost. You could argue that the Sport Coupe also had a drop rear window, but somewhat different. Cheers.

It also could have been a trunk model converted to a rumble??

The vendors have a roll down rear window kit. https://www.brattons.com/complete-ro...ess-glass.html

Actually, the Sport Coupe had a "raise" rear window.

I think the roll-down rear window became standard sometime in 30-31 on cars with factory installed rumble seat. But I'm not sure when, or if, that happened.

My 30 has a factory roll down rear window. Body is as perfect as I can imagine but who knows for sure what someone did to a car in the last 80 years. Mine was in mid restoration when I bought it but had been sitting for 15 years.

Bartmceill: in the first pic the drain pan appears to be missing, hope you have installed it now.
