Any parts store will have the socket which is more a less standard. Then you need a
#51 6vt bulb now you just have to find the feed wire very odd its not there??

If it helps...
I have wiring diagrams for a '55 and '57 (T-Bird),
on both the power wire to the high beam indicator light is Green with a Black stripe.

i'm confused? the wire has to be there, or somebody been in there. Whatever color
wire; comes from the high beam terminal on the foot switch. I think all you can do is
run a wire from foot switch to the high beam on the cluster. Or you open a can of
beans cutting the wire harness. It maybe broken or cut at the harness break out. the
break out means when a wire terminates from the harness...

That is a unique and oddball looking light socket too BTW, since it is a deepwell type so the bulb sticks way into the hi-beam well. Kinda looks like a cigarette with a washer around it. Look around under the dash, maybe it is just hanging in there somewhere.
