Default tin sided v8's

We just came back from a trip to the early ford v8 museum in Auburn In, unreal! They had a tin sided 60hp, which I have hear of but right beside it was a tin sided 85hp new to me. I was wondering if any of the barners have information on these engines.
If you haven't been to this museum it is a must see for any v8'er. Very unusual
v8 cars and more.

Hi Chuck, good to see a post from you. Hope you and Cathy(sp) are doing well.
I saw that tin sided 85hp engine there a few years ago. I took some pictures of it and think I posted them here. Never could find any history on that one. That museum is awesome. I've always enjoyed my visits there.

V8-60 had welded sheet metal sides for a good portion of production. I don't think any 221 production engines had welded sides. Speedy Bill had stuff that was experimental in his collection so I'd figure that's what it likely was. I know he had some of the prototype V8 engines that came from The Henry Ford at Greenfield Village in his Museum of American Speed.
