Default Front and Rear Spring Shackles MisFit

Looked at the front and rear shackles on the car. Noticed they had a double spacer bar on the back side. Removed a couple of the castle nuts and took out a spacer and the shackle threads were not long enough to tighten up the one spacer bar to the back of the spring and perch. Rears look to be the same situation. Cotter pin hole doesn't work either. I know these are either originals or very early after market shackles. They are in great condition. I want to make this right. Appreicate your thoughts as to how to fix correctly. Thanks

are the "inner bars" going beyond the square shank on the shackle studs? may be a set of V8 shackles used on a narrower model a spring??

This is correct. I thought all springs were same width. It matches the perch.
