Date code?
My car has a diamond block with the original numbers ground off. How can I determine when it was cast?

Re: Date code?
I think my diamond block has a date cast in it.
I haven't looked at it for about 10 years, but thought it had a date on the right side. |

My block does not have a date code in the location noted on Vince's web site. Mine must be one cast during four cylinder production.
