Default Convertible top advice.

I am having trouble with my 51 vert top. When I first installed the entire assembly (previous owner removed it assembled) it went up and down smoothly by hand. After I installed the weather stripping along the rails it is jammed and won't go down. When I installed the most forward section of weather stripping I tucked the flaps of top material under first. This is where it's binding. This has me puzzled because it looked like these flaps tucked in there with the old weather strip and it is what keeps the top tight from side to side. If any one has a pic of how this should look it would be greatly appreciated.
