Default no spark in my Model B fixed

I tried all the usual suspects for a no spark problem at the end of the winter. Nothing worked. Then I removed the points and used a metal file to make them shiny; an emery board didn't do the job but the file did. SHAZAAM! A hot spark happened.

I have run into problems with replacement Model B points. They seem to have almost no tungsten and will burn in a very short time. If your problem keeps happening, replace the points

My experience
