Default B Carb on the Ford AA??

When did Ford begin putting the B Carb on his AA (BB) trucks? I know there must be a bunch of AA guys out there that know when the change from A carb to B carb happened!

I ran a B carburetor on my unrestored 28 roadster back in the 80s. I Liked how it ran, but I'm really an original, stock model A guy so I never put one on another model A.
