Default 'Tazer' style ignition coils

If you've ever seen those "high voltage generators" on ebay that people make light tube and shocking prank doorknobs with and wondered
"Can I use those for model T ignition?"
Yes, you can.

At first i tried having the coils ground through the normal roller timer.
Then i tried this method.
If you try it at home, you may want to trial using a normal timer (without electronics) but the duty cycle is rather high. I wanted to make mine programmable, hence this.

Oh, and they do not like more than 6 volts, so if you're using a generator, take that into consideration.

(picture of the 5 volt set up just in case you wanted to try that.)

So yeah... now there's an alternative to wooden coils.
