Default brake press. switch

I have seen , either here or the early V8 forum, that some guys are replacing bad brake light pressure switches with a pressure switch from Harley-Davidson. I thought I had written the part # down, but can not find it. anyone know what the part # is ? The switch on my avatar has gone bad, and I need a good quality switch to replace the one on the car. Thanks for any help anyone can provide.--- Jim

This is from my posting on the HAMB:

The low pressure switch was from Classic Performance Products in Placentia, CA 800-522-5004 Part number CPP-LBPS They list it as 45psi. Cost in August was 16 bucks plus tax shipping included.

I am using the Harley Davidson brake light switch on the car in my avatar, but I don't recall the plastic package having a part #. I got it at the counter of a bike shop here in town.
But other folks here know what it is. That's how I got turned on to it.

Ron Francis has a hyd. , low pressure switch , DOT 5 compatible, so they say. It does have different connector but comes with its own connector.

A high quality switch with a much longer life than previous models available anywhere. Fits most cars, with 20-50 pounds pressure required, instead of stock units that need 60-120 pounds pressure to activate.

Standard 1/8 inch Pipe Thread. Design rating of 4 amp. Halogens, trailers or any combination of more than 2 standard tailight bulbs and small LED third brake light will require our part number BR-66 or equivalent.

ATTENTION: THIS updated version of this trusty switch is D.O.T. compliant which includes silicone fluid compatibility and it is capable of 200 -300% more cycles

The only problem I see is the switch using GM style terminals. I know I have seen this rating switch using FORD pins.
